The police usually can take your computer when charged CSC
In many cases police will obtain search warrants and seize your computer and sexually related materials from your own home. The computer is then sent to the Michigan State Police who exam the hard drive for sex related material.
The police may do this even when a computer wasn’t used in the commission of the alleged crime.
