Driver License Lawyer in Michigan

If the State of Michigan has revoked your license you must get them to reinstate it before you will be able to drive again in Michigan or anywhere else.

There are several different ways to reinstate your driver license depending on where you live or why it is revoked. If you now live out of state you can do an administrative review without coming back to Michigan. If you live here then you have to have a hearing to reinstate your license. In some cases a circuit court hearing is required. Click here to view our page for Michigan Driver License restoration.

Driver License Restoration Success

Our most recent success occurred in the Wayne County Circuit Court last week. Our client had obtained multiple drinking and driving convictions and driving while license suspended cases prior to 1998. Prior to 98 suspensions ran consecutive and not concurrent, so his license was revoked and he could not have a hearing until the year 2070.

We had a hearing scheduled and were able to get the Attorney General to agree to allow our client to have a hearing. He will now be given an opportunity to have a hearing, something that he would not have been eligible for until long after his death.

Very few cases fall into this category of license restoration, most cases only require a hearing or review, but we do handle all driver license restoration issues.
