Our client’s relationship with his wife had been crumbling for years. Finally, it came to a head and the two separated. Our client went to his estranged wife’s home to exchange the kids in Detroit. While he was there an argument ensued and the police were called. When the police arrived his wife claimed that he had slapped her and on a previous occasion he punched her in the face, injuring her, and making her require medical attention.
