OWI High BAC – No Jail

Drunk Driving High BAC is a relatively new drinking and driving offense. It is basically a DUI with increased penalties that is charged when your blood alcohol level is a .17 or higher. In this case our client was charged with High BAC after he crashed his car into a snow bank and got stuck in a strangers driveway that reported him to the police.

The client made the right move and called DUI lawyer, Aaron J. Boria (734) 453-7806.

We got his case reduced, which saved him thousands of dollars, points on his license, months of potential jail time, and he got to keep his driver license.

If you are charged with Drunk Driving High BAC you face an increased fine of $700 plus the cost of arrest and prosecution, $2000 in driver responsibility fees, 6 points on your license, 6 months in jail, two years on probation, and a one year suspension of your driver license.

Our client was sentenced today on a reduced offense of operating while impaired. His points were knocked down from 6 to 4, potential jail time reduced from 6 months to 3 (although we were able to convince the judge not to give him any time) driver responsibility fees cut in half, fines cut by almost 2/3, we saved his license, and he will only do one year of probation – Pretty good for a guy with a .19 BAC and an accident.
