35th District Court – Plymouth

The 35th District Court is located at 660 Plymouth Rd, Plymouth, MI 48170. The Court handles misdemeanors and felonies at the preliminary examination stage. The court also handles civil matters where the value in dispute is under $25,000.00.

35th District Court

The 35th District Court claims jurisdiction over the City of Northville, Northville Township, Plymouth City, Plymouth Township, and Canton. It is the only court in the state that claims jurisdiction in both Wayne County and Oakland County.

If you are charged with a felony and the matter is bound over then it will go to either the Oakland County Circuit Court or the Wayne County Circuit Court. More than likely it will be the Wayne Circuit Court as only a small portion of Northville falls in Oakland County.

35th District Court Judges

There are three judges at the 35th District Court and they are Judge Gerou, Judge Plakas, and Judge Lowe.

Judge Lowe has been there for the longest period of time with judge Plakas being there for the shortest.
